Eti Foodstuffs Industry and Trade Co. Inc.
Eti was founded in 1961 as Eti Bisküi Fabrikası (Eti Biscuit Factory), a personal corporation in the name of Firuz Kanatlı.

In the year 1972, this company was turned into a family corporation under the trade name of Eti Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Eti Food Industry and Trade Co. Inc.)

Eti Gıda A.Ş. holds the industrial property rights of "ETİ" Brand.

The Company started its production on the date of January 20th, 1962 with a capacity as small as 3 tons. Starting from this date, however, a small-sized capacity increase was achieved in 1964 at the Central Plant in Eskişehir, and much larger capacity increases in the years 1967, 1970, 1973 and 1975.

In 1978, Etimek production plant was established in Bozüyük (Bilecik). By new investments, this plant started the production of Topkek and Popkek, respectively in 1994 and 1998, and most recently, commenced to produce Turti in the year 2001.

Production at the Central Plant in Eskişehir was terminated in December 1999. After this date, the Company commenced to effectuate whole of its biscuit production at its new facilities which are situated in Eskişehir Industrial Estate and the installation of which has been continuing since 1995.

Eti applies ISO 9002 Quality Security System. Under the strict discipline of the said system, Eti places hygiene and sanitation, the most important and indispensable requirements of the food production sector, to the foreground, and monitors the sufficiency and efficiency of the cleanliness and sterility of its production facilities through regular micro-biological analyzes.

Eti is determined to pass from the stage of ISO 9002 Quality Security System to the stage of Total Quality. All the necessary arrangements are made and all required activities are commenced to be performed for this final target. Naturally, the overall target of Eti is to ensure that the Company attains excellence in every respect.

The Department of Research and Development (ARGE) established within Eti Gıda A.Ş. develops, with its 25 specialist staff members, new and original tastes to be produced by the production companies of the Group.

The marketing activities of Eti Gıda products in Domestic (i.e. Turkish) and International markets are carried out by Eti Pazarlama Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Eti Marketing Industry and Trade Co. Inc.), which is a company of Eti Group.

With an unshakable determination for continual development, Eti continues to act as an obstinate technology follower of its sector, and to carry out its renovation and modernization activities effectively.
