Established as a sole proprietorship in 1961 under the name “ETİ Bisküvi Fabrikası – Firuz Kanatlı”, ETİ became a family company in 1972 with the business name of “ETİ Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.”

ETİ Machinery was officially established as a joint stock company in 1978 to meet the machinery and equipment demands of the food production facilities in the ETİ Group of Companies. The biscuit, cracker and cake production facilities were set up as turnkey operations that boasted the necessary infrastructure and know-how.
