Ümran Beba

Ümran Beba is a Partner at New York-based August Leadership, where she advises on executive search and placement, leadership, and corporate culture. With nearly 40 years of leadership experience, Beba spent 25 years at PepsiCo, serving as President and General Manager across Southeast Europe, Eastern Mediterranean/Middle East, and Türkiye, before being appointed President of Asia PacificPresident of Asia Pacific. She has served as an Independent Board Member at Bakkavor Group and Calbee Snacks, is the co-author of Leaders with Purpose, and has been named multiple times to Fortune's global list of Most Powerful Women in Business. Beba holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Boğaziçi University. In 2022, she received an honorary doctorate in Commercial Science from Mercy College.
