ETi Children's Theatre

For over 25 years, ETi Children’s Theater has offered free performances across Türkiye and abroad, supporting children’s personal, social, and cultural development. With thousands of shows from Edirne to Hakkari, and in regions with high Turkish populations like Northern Cyprus, Macedonia, and Azerbaijan, we have brought the joy of theater to over 3 million young viewers.

I Have a Riddle for You, Kids!

Our new original play weaves together themes of nature and animal love, the positive power of the internet, peer and cyberbullying, family ties, friendship, peace, empathy, self-confidence, and discovering one’s inner strength—all in an engaging, educational format.

Developed via focus groups with children aged 5–12 by author Ömür Kurt, the script was penned by Dr. İpek Wiesmann, directed by Ünsal Sicilli, scored by Caner Anar, and designed by Evren Savaş—complete with the children’s own slogans set to music.

Defne and her mother Derya embark on a journey at Inventor Grandpa’s home, exploring intergenerational bonds, responsible internet use, and the thrill of solving riddles. When Aras and Tesi join, the play gently tackles modern issues like bullying and showcases the value of positivity. Ultimately, they learn the true treasure: friendship, joy, a love of nature, and the power to create change, with the reminder that the internet is a tool, not a goal.
