Melt half package of margarine at a medium heat. Add five tablespoons flour and eight tablespoons granulated sugar to the melted margarine. Stir continuously at a low heat until its turns pink (4 to 6 minutes). Add one liter of cold milk on the mixture and continue stirring at a medium heat so that the sugar and flour do not get lumpy. After adding vanilla, cook until it boils and stiffens. Remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes, and then mix well with a mixer (5 to 10 minutes).
